A doula is a trained professional who provides physical, emotional, and informational support to a birthing person and their partner before, during, and immediately after childbirth. The role of a doula is to help the birthing person have a safe, positive, and empowering birth experience. Doulas offer continuous support, which includes comfort measures such as massage and breathing techniques, advocacy for the birthing person’s wishes and needs, and education about childbirth and postpartum care. A birth doula does not provide medical care but rather works alongside the healthcare provider to ensure that the family's needs are met and their wishes are respected.

I offer two prenatal visits, continuous labour support, immediate postpartum care, and two postpartum visits. I am on call from the 38th week until delivery. My goal is to provide you with the care and support you need to make your journey to parenthood as smooth as possible.

Postpartum

Day $25/hr

Overnight $30/hr

As a postpartum doula, I provide invaluable support to you as you adjust to life with a newborn. My services include emotional support, help with breastfeeding, practical assistance with household tasks, and guidance on newborn care and development. My ultimate goal is to help you feel empowered and confident as you navigate the early days and weeks of parenthood

Fertility Support

$25/hr

As a fertility doula, I provide emotional, informational, and practical support to individuals and couples trying to conceive. I help clients navigate the complex world of fertility treatments and empower them to make informed decisions about their fertility.

Hi there! My name is Jessica and I am a birth and postpartum doula based in Prince George, BC. As a mother of six, I have always been passionate about supporting families through the joys and challenges of pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood.

When I'm not busy working with clients, I love spending time with my husband, our three dogs, and our family exploring the great outdoors. We enjoy camping, hiking and fishing, and we believe that there's nothing quite like the beauty and serenity of nature to refresh the mind and soul.

In my free time, I enjoy indulging in my favourite hobbies. I love to sew and create beautiful things, and I'm always up for a good book or two. Recently, I've also taken up kickboxing as a way to stay active and challenge myself.
